The operation
An industry leading Perth based mining engineering and geology consultancy specialising in operational support, both on site and remotely.
The role
An experienced underground engineer is sought who is looking to diversify their skillset across different operations in Western Australia.
Key duties
- Mine planning and scheduling, daily through to life of mine and tactical
- Drill and blast design and production engineering
- Specialised mining improvement projects
- Mining infrastructure and project management
- Mentoring, training and upskilling technical staff
What you will need
- Bachelor’s degree in mining engineering
- Two years plus of mine planning, scheduling and production in an underground environment in Australia
- Experienced in hard rock or precious metals
- Progress towards a First Class Mine Manager ticket viewed favourably
- Full Australian working rights
