Exploration Manager – Perth Based
Own the exploration strategy for a junior ASX explorer, reporting directly to the Managing Director.

A junior ASX listed exploration company with a clear and focused strategy, targeting large scale, high value mineral deposits in some of the world’s most geologically prospective regions. The company has built a compelling project portfolio with genuine discovery potential, underpinned by a science based exploration philosophy and a commercially savvy leadership team.
The role
A rare opportunity to join a junior ASX listed explorer in a Perth based Exploration Manager capacity. This is a hands on leadership role where you take full ownership of the company’s exploration strategy, programs and reporting, working directly alongside a senior leadership team in a lean, high impact environment.
For an experienced exploration geologist ready to step into or continue at management level, the role offers genuine autonomy, strong technical variety across compelling mineral systems, and the chance to put your stamp on a growing exploration business.
Key duties
- Report directly to the Managing Director
- Business development and new tenement acquisition
- Support the Managing Director with reporting and growing the team
- Reporting exploration results to the ASX
- Sign off on ASX announcements and presentations from a geological perspective
What you will need
- AusIMM membership
- Bachelor of Science in Geology
- Ten years plus in exploration geology roles across Australia
- JORC compliance, with proven experience reporting to the ASX
- Experienced with new tenement acquisition and development
- Full Australian working rights
