The role
A unique opportunity to join an innovative and growing operation in the Goldfields region of Western Australia. The business has successfully delivered first product and is now entering a significant growth phase.
Reporting to the Head of Site Operations, the Upstream Operations Manager takes ownership of all upstream activities including K harvesting, evaporation ponds, borefields and brine supply, leading a team of Operations Superintendents and Engineers while working closely with Engineering, Resource Development, Process, Commercial and Finance.
Key duties
- Mass balance, pond inventory and dynamic pond modelling to optimise crystallisation and brine movement
- Pumping systems, pipelines and hydraulic network management
- K harvesting planning and execution
- Borefield operations and groundwater management
- QA/QC, technical reporting and SOP development
What you will need
- Statutory compliance as Quarry Manager or Schedule 26 appointee
- Ten years plus in management or leadership roles in Australia
- Proven experience with water management and pumping systems
- Dewatering or tailings exposure
- Competency with Pronto and INX software
