Refereez is an independent, human-led reference verification platform designed to improve hiring outcomes for employers, empower job seekers to showcase their strengths, and partner with charities to create meaningful employment pathways.

Employers get detailed, unbiased references verified outside of their hiring process, while job seekers gain a trusted reference profile they can use to stand out. The client portal makes it seamless: upload references, track progress, and get transparent updates in real time.

How it works

Two checks, completed independently

RequestReferences are requested through the Refereez portal once a candidate reaches offer stage.
VerifyChecks are completed by experienced recruiters at arm’s length from our own process, by phone or email.
ReportA detailed reference report is returned, giving an accurate representation of the candidate.

Ezra does not run on a spreadsheet, and it does not run on someone else’s platform. We built Hound, a recruitment CRM designed and hosted in Australia, and it is where every candidate record, client brief and placement we handle actually lives.
