The Senior Exploration Geologist strategically plans and oversees exploration initiatives aimed at uncovering new deposits. This pivotal role involves enhancing the businesses understanding of the group's land holdings, contributing essential data to databases, and guiding exploration strategies. On a family friends 8/6 FIFO Perth roster and will be reporting directly to the Exploration Manager.

Responsibilities

• On the ground exploration including the planning of sampling activities in coordination with the team, and the oversight of the execution of these activities.
• Management & supervision of project/ exploration geologists, contractors and drill staff associated with exploration activities.
• Ensure sampling programs are accurately performed aligned with budgets and drilling objectives

Requirements

• B Sc (Geology) or equivalent.
• WA Australian Driver’s License C Class or above or equivalent.
• 5 years experience in the mining industry with preferably experience working at a similar level
• Experience leading and managing a team
• Software capabilities in GIS & 3D modelling
